How it works
It is completely normal to feel anxious or nervous about starting therapy.
Our initial 30-minute Zoom chat is free of charge. This is an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy, any concerns you have, or the changes you're looking to make. I will navigate this conversation with you as we begin to untangle these experiences, while you get a feel for how it is to talk with me and ask any questions about my approach.
If you feel comfortable and would like to continue working together, all subsequent sessions are 50 minutes. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, with the number of sessions guided by your needs.
By focusing on our therapeutic relationship, we will work to identify and understand the aspects of your life that may be impacting your wellbeing, empowering you to untie unhelpful patterns and move toward the changes you are looking for.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I abide by their respective Ethical Frameworks, ensuring that our work together is held to the highest professional standards.
